Journey To Perfect Plaid
I’ve been on a journey to find the perfect plaid shirt since my trip to Paris. It all began during a stroll down rue Saint-Honoré; I noticed the couture houses were featuring bold plaids in their store window displays.
The deep hues and rich blends made my heart warm. I didn’t want to walk in and drop thousands on a single piece of cotton (that which my Dad farms—he would kill me), so I took a more practical point of view on the hunt for the perfect plaid.
As I thought about how my Dad harvests cotton, I was reminded of my relationship with Levi’s and how the cotton from our farm makes its way to their factory. I...
