The Avery House
So there's a castle for sale in my town. A castle that is one of the last standing historical Queen Anne style pieces of architecture in our city. It is for sale for around 180 thousand because the inside needs a lot of work for it to be liveable. What an amazing a beautiful opportunity to possess a piece of history. The home, known as The Avery House, was built in 1889-the year SD became a state. It has stained glass windows, a gorgeous staircase, a turret, and some lovely fireplaces. I know this all from the photos I found on google of course. We didn't get to go into the house, but I'd love to see the inside of it someday (or own it, har har). I keep trying to...
