Receipt Shock
I went to a half off sale at Value Village recently and stocked up on baby clothes. She got some great things for the next few months including some holiday outfits. I got two pairs of pants and some shoes. I don't usually thrift shoes, but these were cute, they fit, they were nice brands and still had a lot of wear. When I got to the cashier, the total was almost $90. I was shocked! I guess I had stopped my mental tally once I got done with the kids' department. Oops.
