For my 3rd Halloween themed Post i decided to present you a local legendary figure: the white lady Ophelia painted by John William Waterhouse In Austria almost each castle has it´s white lady, which is by the legend the ghost of a young and beautiful lady in a medieval robe. Often she died under mysterious circumstances, in some versions she committed suicide because she has fallen in love unhappily, and after her death she is banned to guard a secret treasure.
