escapism and pink
Hilo Hattie silk dress, thrifted I don't really like pink, or aloha prints in general, but after a fruitless hour browsing Goodwill, this dress caught my eye and I took it home without trying it on first (my parking meter time was running out). What can I say? I'm a sucker for thrifted silk and I thought the pink, orange and green print was fun. I also liked the textured lattice effect of the fabric. I was surprised that the husband gave this a thumbs-up - but I think it's just that he likes to see me in soft girly floral things.
