Sur le blog swing the day away
No Access
For living on the shoreline of New England, there are a surprisingly limited amount of lighthouses that you can actually get close to or venture inside of. There are relatively none in my state that has public access or tours. What gives?! What's so secret about these lighthouses that the public can't enjoy them, even if it's through guided tours? I'll never understand it. I know there are some in other states that have lighthouses that you can go in for a small fee. I'll have to make a day trip out of it someday! There is one about an hour away that does have tours of the inside of the lighthouse that I had been trying to plan a trip...
