Nordstrom
I love Nordstrom. Over the last two years I've given up most of the mall stores because I don't want to support fast fashion. I've given up buying clothes from Target, other department stores, and mostly from Macy's for some of the same reasons but also because I want to keep as much of my spending as local as possible. But as far as I'm concerned, Nordstrom is a local company and I will never give them up despite my love for thrift stores. I love their story. Did you know that John W. Nordstrom came to the United States from Sweden with five dollars in his pocket, not knowing a word of English? He came to Seattle, then decided to head north to Canada...
