Wedding Diary: Making it legal!
This post may require a little explaining! In order to pull off our dream of having our wedding - ceremony included - in my parents garden (a dream we weren't willing to compromise on), we had to do things a little differently. In England, for a ceremony to be legally binding it has to take place in a licensed venue. We looked into getting one of my parents holiday lets licensed, or even their front room, but there was far too much red tape, and there was absolutely no way we could legally pull off our ultimate dream of getting married outside.
