Donna Karan Fall 2013/Resort 2014 with Saks Fifth Avenue
American designer Donna Karan visited Boston on Friday to host a cocktail party and fashion show with Saks Fifth Avenue. The CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award winner flew in from Israel and began the evening with a reception at Saks. The party then moved Drydock at the Seaport, where guests were lifted through heavy freight elevators to a loft space with a runway and bar. Guests were treated to a show featuring highlights from Ms. Karan's Fall 2013 collection, as well as a preview of Resort 2014. Note to Boston: the capes, double breasted coats and opaque tights shown are simply perfect for November in the Hub!
