A couple of years ago, I pinned an outfit that had a lace top, and ever since then I've been on the lookout for a good one. I love that white lace gives a simple outfit some dimension and some elegance, taking a simple patterned pants and jacket look up a notch without being fussy or overwhelming. Add a pair of pretty bow-topped flats and you have a basic, but feminine outfit that's perfect for a weekend family outing to buy a train set for a fully potty-trained, no-accidents-for-several-months boy.
