Three?

I was reading Kimmie's blog a while ago and she mentioned the three piece rule : that someone was working retail somewhere and was required to wear at least three articles of clothing. I've been thinking that this rule was definitely invented by someone who wanted to sell clothing, but I've kept that idea at the back of my head all summer and noticed that I'm usually only wearing two, one if it's a dress. I tried a few times to add a lightweight summer scarf to my outfit just to "elevate" it a little, but it usually led to being hot and uncomfortable. Today I'm actually wearing five things now that the weather is getting cooler and it feels odd...
