Sugar high
Well I'm a little bummed. I failed my one hour glucose test yesterday. I was actually rather surprised by this. My number wasn't extremely high, but anything over a certain point is suspect and the test is basically pass/fail. There is no room for "it's not that bad." So I get to go back tomorrow and do the lovely 3 hour test and hope that I pass that one. To be on the safe side, I'm doing a sugar detox today. Yeah maybe that's cheating the day before my final exam, but I don't care. I'll do whatever I can to ensure I can still enjoy some of my favorite fall goodies before the baby comes!
