I've put a lot of thought to this whole dressing like it's fall when it feels like summer thing and I think I've found the solution: dark colors, bare limbs, no layers. Those are the rules of fall here in the south. This weekend we stayed late at the shop because the fine ladies of Emporium Pies had a pop-up shop on the square in McKinney. It's all anyone of us at the shop could talk about all week. Rumor has it they are opening this fall which means Fridays will now be known as Pie-days at bloom.
