Book Report: The Secret Garden
I started reading The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett to the baby a day or two after she was born. I read her a chapter aloud a day. She would usually fall asleep by the end of the chapter. I wanted to keep going because it is such a good story, but would wait until the next day to start the next chapter with her. The book is a chapter book with very few illustrations and I started to worry that the book was developmentally inappropriate so I decided to read her baby board books in addition.
