Oh, that first day back to school; fresh books and pencils, a new outfit, classrooms to be found, friends to be made. A mix of excitement and anxiety, swirling around in your stomach like a cocktail of nerves. It meant new beginnings and held so much possibility that it resonates so strongly still to this very moment. Today is my new years.
