"Wear neutral tones and solid pieces," they said.
"Parents need to see you as a professional and darker colors help that," they said.
"You don't need to show any personality or individuality -- you must look like a sterile robot in a suit," they implied.
"Forget that," I said.
I think that parents should see my personality--what I wear for them isn't any different than what their kids see. Maybe it's not recommended for everyone, but it seems to work just fine for me....
