still summer
Every August I feel like I'm put in fast forward mode.
I see "Fall Must Haves" every where and although my eyes enjoy the autumn candy I can't help but wish summer would last a few more months. This summer I'm especially in denial mode. My little girl is starting Kindergarten in a week and I'm so happy-sad (if that makes any sense) that she's growing up at lighting speed. The other day she picked out her back pack and a lace top to wear on the first day of school. And so while my kids get excited for school I'll enjoy hogging them for another week.
