Visible Monday: the Mending Edition
I am on Spring Break this week and catching up on all kinds of neglected household tasks. Our taxes was one and Sunday evening, I threaded a needle to make a small change to a boy's shirt I thrifted in February. I snagged the shirt off the rack outside the dressing rooms because I liked the "outer space" print. At home, I discovered that it was a boy's shirt, and predictably missing an essential button...between my two breasts. As I pondered what to do about this, it occurred to me that the proper buttons could reclaim the shirt. I've now spent more on the buttons than I did the shirt itself, but I am pleased with the results.
