A pair of denim shorts was another item on my summer must-have list. I was loving those super distressed cutoffs, the ones with a solid half inch disintegrating at the hem, however the most important factor for me when buying shorts is that they not be tight on the thighs. For anyone who is self conscious about their thighs, skin tight shorts are a recipe for disaster. Nothing makes me feel worse than sitting down in a pair of shorts like that. Fortunately the boyfriend style is big right now, and Old Navy has these shorts in three different washes, all under $20.
