Necessary Basics
Since coming to New York I've definitely undergone a nice style transformation.. nothing major. But I now think I really understand the concept of "effortless chic"and hope to perfect the concept when I move to Paris in a couple of weeks (I know, freakin' out!). Not saying I'm that great at it yet.. but I like the direction my style is heading. Although there are no rules or guidelines to this concept, the style-ites here in New York live by the motto of looking chic-as-hell and, well, not fussy. There's some pattern mixing, textures, staying in a somewhat neutral (I prefer the word cleansing) color palette.....
