Book Review: Cutting For Stone Cutting For Stone by Abraham Verghese: I was told by a friend that this book was good, but that it took a hundred pages in to get interesting. At the time, I thought, "I don't have time to wait a hundred pages to get engrossed! Forget it!" But I picked it up last month after school had ended and my summer vacation had begun.
