desert strange
I love escaping to the desert on a spontaneous weekend trip. Behind the ticky-tacky desert cities is a layer of strange I find irresistible. I'm not really into crowded hotel pool parties, or day drinking into oblivion. I want a dirt road, and the promise of unexpected adventure.
This past weekend Sam and I discovered a hidden desert oasis complete with hand-crafted log cabins, abandoned Airstreams, and a charming bed and breakfast run by two brilliant chefs.
And of course no desert trip could be complete without a visit to Noah's Art Desert.
