Iceland Day Five
The Blue Lagoon was number one on my list of places to visit in Iceland. It just always looked so magical in pictures and some of my favorite experiences on past trips internationally were in bath houses--America doesn't have a great bath house culture, but it really is so relaxing and some are incredibly beautiful. For me, the Blue Lagoon lived up to the hype. We saved it for our last full day in Iceland and it was an incredibly relaxing way to end our trip that was mostly spent driving all over the island. The water is incredibly striking in person and wonderfully warm--I overhead a man joking to his friends that my hair is what happens when you stay in the water...
