Mixing Metals
I wore this to a wine and cheese type get together on Saturday night. I asked the host what to wear and got a very vague answer, so I ended up dressing pretty casually. Little did I know that all the other women were going to wear dresses and heels! You always hear the saying that it's better to be overdressed than underdressed, and I wish I had heeded that advice this time! In terms of the outfit, I drew inspiration from the tan overlay on the black shirt, and decided to mix metals on my wrist because the gold and silver could both technically "go" with an outfit like this.
