back to school and what it means to me
Today wasn't just any old Monday, it was the first day back to school for Jacksonville kids and college students. Although my campus days are long gone, I still get excited this time of year because more than anything, the first day back means the end of summer break and the unofficial beginning of fall. To celebrate student style as well as the soon-to-be-changing seasons, I wore a sweater (despite the fact that we continue to experience very summer-like weather). Together with the oxfords, simple skirt and button-up top -a basic element of every school-girl outfit- this outfit was my homage to the beginning of classes and, with any luck, the beginning of autumn.
