we're getting ready for july 4th over here, and i am happy to announce that matty and i both have the day off! how exciting. my mom has told me over and over again that i was supposed to be born on july 4th. her and my dad went for a date in NYC that night, and giggled because i was supposed to be arriving momentarily. she said she can remembered vividly driving home with fireworks filling the sky, wondering how in the world i still stayed in her belly with all that loud noise! sure enough, i didn't arrive until a week and a half later :) i always still consider july 4th ALMOST my birthday, since it was supposed to be...
