Traditional Ukrainian pieces: Floral blouse, Ukraine. Woven belt, Ukraine. Boots, Ellen III. Non-traditional pieces: Faux vest, United Colors of Benetton. Skirt, Liz Claiborne. Hosiery, Merona. Earrings, thrifted . Last year, in honor of Czech Independence Day, my lovely co-worker, Leah, and I dressed in our traditional Slavic costumes. (Leah was Miss Czech-Slovak Minnesota a few years ago.
