What do I care about the purring of one who cannot love, like the cat? As anyone who has ever been around a cat for any length of time well knows, cats have enormous patience with the limitations of the human kind. If man could be crossed with the cat, it would improve man but deteriorate the cat. I would love to go into an animal's dream - like a lion's or a cat's. I'm sure that's pretty awesome. A man is like a cat; chase him and he will run - sit still and ignore him and he'll come purring at your feet. One small cat changes coming home to an empty house to coming home. ...
