Guess what?????In 10 days (provided that everything goes to plan) we will offically be home owners :)After looking at around 100 hovels we've found "the one", a place we can make a home.It's a 1930's bungalow style weatherboard villa on a 600 sq metre section with a nice wee vege patch and more than enough room for a dog.It does have a bit of quake damage but nothing too major; the brick fire wall fell down so that needs replacing and it will be plaster & painted throughout but EQC have already arranged to do all of that, all we need to do is choose the paint and eventually we'll renovate the bathroom but all in all I'm pretty happy with it.What was your first home...
