BIRKENTHOUGHTS.
I don´t know about you, but when i was a teenager, Birkenstocks were the real deal. I didn´t get one since it´s Made in Germany which also means too expensive for my dad´s taste. He didn´t get this slipper costing more than one month´s rent situation. And so I grew up fantasizing of owning one pair, someday. Not because i loved it ( i hated it ) but because i wanted to be a part of the trendy group that wore them at school. DAMN YOU PEER PRESSURE!
Then the internet happened and we got all stuck up on it and i got the feeling that Birkenstocks were ridiculously associated with “tourists” especially when paired with almost knee high...
