coat - topshop, jumper & bag - zara, skirt - topshop boutique, boots - office . this coat just works with stripes. you might think it'd be too much of a clash but it's completely not. when i first spotted this coat online i thought no, no no, it's too bright - but i was lured in by the fact it was in the sale (who can resist a sale? it's so much easier to convince yourself to take a sartorial risk when the price is lower), and i'm glad i took that chance on it. it doesn't go with everything, but it's the coat i always reach for when an outfit needs a bit of a boost - or in this case, to stop me from looking too much like a sailor (although...
