Yesterday night was another one of those unexpected and perfectly sporadic nights that ended in complete euphoria. Rachael and I decided to go on a short jaunt to Fremont around 8 pm last night, simply to stretch our legs and talk, et cetera. We were planning to walk and then return to SPU -- but boy, did that definitely not happen. Around 9 pm I received a call from Kristie saying that there were two free tickets available for the Local Natives concert that was happening that night (in fact, they would be going onstage at 10 pm). Of course Rachael and I freaked out. The next thing I knew, we were taking a bus to the U District to the Neptune Theater to see...
