You won't find anything more classic or versatile than a striped knit tee . It's the perfect basic in my opinion, which is why I own about 10 striped tees. I wanted to show a look for work and weekend so I tossed on the knit cowl scarf for a dressed down look and then I fancied up the jersey ringer tee with my favorite polka dot button down. Yes, a button down shirt is fancy for me. Mainly because I don't get out much. Moral of the story here: stripes are a must-have no matter how fancy or not-so-fancy you happen to be.
