MBFWA 2013: Phoenix Keating
The Phoenix Keating presentation at MBFWA marks the end of my fashion week. I have to admit I felt out of place, as a vintage blogger, applying to cover some shows at the MBFWA. But a presentation like this one reminds me that a vintage gal like me still have a place in the industry. With an amazing designer taking inspiration from the 40s fashion, I felt like I’ve finally found where I belong.
The presentation of the models and the clothing makes me think of a morbid display of aliens if they were ever found on planet earth. With the guests free to roam and analyse (no touching though!) every piece inside the room, the dark atmosphere was strangely...
