Shades of Green and Turquoise and a Little Bit of Jamaica
I took the past week and a half off of my blog because I was on a mission trip to Jamaica with my youngest daughter's senior class. What an amazing (and challenging) time we had! The Jamaican people are so kind, the food is yummy and the weather is extremely warm! We worked with a school in Trenchtown (Bob Marley's hometown) for three of our days there, with three different children's homes (orphanages) and a senior citizen home. I was blessed by just being able to spend time with the children and people of Jamaica and learning about their culture! Long before emerald was Pantone's color of the year green was my favorite color. I love green in any shade, from sea-foam...
