Can you tell I'm loving my new thrifted shoes? I wore them twice in one week! I was able to wear some fun outfits this week thanks to not having many scheduled days in court. Today, however, I have to go to juvenile court and maybe because the courtrooms are much smaller and more intimate, or maybe because most of the attorneys are younger/newer, there's less evidence of "style" there than in regular criminal court, and I'm more wary of even mixing and matching suit separates. Juvenile court is a whole different ball game. Every time I go there I feel like such an idiot - there is a whole separate set of court rules, they use different terminology, have different ways...
