If you are an avid reader of ItsNotThatDeep than you know I like a clean minimal look. I found that, aside from when I'm wearing jeans, the belt buckles are too distracting to my outfit. I wanna add a bit of interest but I don't want that bit to be distracting. Wearing my belts (and ties) backwards totally achieves this look. It looks minimal and clean and a lot of times the detail in the front is more appealing than the one in the back! As far as the back goes..you just gotta work with it. You either have to wear something to cover the back like a cardigan or you may find (like with the above belt) that the back is not that noticeable and may just blend in...
