Shoes! The Bata Shoe Museum, and Brunch
Hello again! One of the most fun, and most spontaneous days on Samim's visit to Toronto, took place on the coldest day. We started our day off by meeting up with Samim's friend TJ, and TJ's friends Nico and Alison. We all met up for brunch, and then decided to head to the Bata Shoe Museum as it was too cold to spend the day walking outside comfortably. I had been meaning to visit Bata for ages, and I am glad I did. Blown away! The museum is a nice mix of sociological and anthropological significances associated with each particular shoe, and a section showing celebrity shoes! An excellent contrast.
