Sometimes when I’m looking at pictures of myself (and, as you might guess from this blog, I look at a lot of pictures of myself), I have a hard time understanding the design of the human body.
This isn’t a knock against my body in particular, or bodies in general–just sometimes I look at a picture and the arms look spidery and weird, or I can’t quite get a grasp of the whole and how it works in concert. Most of the time I inhabit my body...
