Celebrating Love
Hello guys, Tomorrow, we'll be celebrating love the Romanian style. Yep, we have our own Valentine's day, it's called Dragobete. Dragobete, unlike Valentine's day, has more of a mystical significance. It is inspired by nature, it is the day that birds start to build their nests and there is a common belief that people tend to copy nature's rituals. This day is considered to be the first day of spring, so fingers crossed. Dragobete is a holiday of love, full of superstitions and magical rituals, both for single people wanting to find true love and for couples who want to make their love stronger. I, for one, will have even more reasons to celebrate, because tomorrow...
