knit and lace
you know what? standing in the bald sun wearing a black sweater.....i was HOT!!! like kinda about to break a little sweat. that is so fantastic.it's been a while since i've worn this skirt. i bought it on etsy and it was mid-calf length and a sort of awkward a-line, but the lace is pretty fabulous and i knew exactly how i wanted it to look. and this is one of the only times i've purchased something with the intention of altering it and then ACTUALLY ALTERING IT. usually i'm too lazy and the garment and the money go to waste. but this time i followed through. i know, sometimes i even surprise myself. details:sweater-vintage, thriftskirt-vintage,...
