American Apparel sweater | Gap skirt (similar) | Hue tights (similar) | Steve Madden boots (similar) Joe Fresh necklace | Turquoise & Caicos Essie nails I think my favourite thing about winter this season has been the pairing of heavy, bulky sweaters with light, summery skirts and dresses. There's something about the contrast of it that I just cannot help but love. It's the same kind of love that I have for a masculine leather coat paired with a soft lace top, or a strong boyfriend blazer paired with a light champagne floral. The other obvious draw to this trend comes from the fact that my closet grows exponentially when I don't have to pack away my summer dresses...
