sewing project #16: the plaid dress
Self sewn dress ( pattern here! ), CottonOn faux fur vest ( similar ), Franco Sarto boots And here we have my Thanksgiving outfit. Sewing this dress with a fall plaid wasn't my original intentions, but I'm glad I went with this fabric choice. The pattern for this dress is from BurdaStyles new book, BurdaStyle Sewing Vintage Modern . When I was asked to pick a pattern from the book to sew, I immediately was drawn towards the Elizabeth Gathered-Waist Dress ! The only variation made on this dress is that I shortened it. I can't wait to remake it for a more fancy occasion~
