That's why I love basic pieces with a special detail. A striped top with a sequin bird or a grey pump with a hidden bow. And when a coat that I wear far too often needs to feel a little more special, a vintage brooch will help with that. These are the outfits I feel the best in and it's nice to be able to still feel classic and put together without feeling like I have to try really hard. I'm really just hoping a brooch or sequin bird...
