it's better to feel pain than nothing at all
Well, the new year definitely has not started the way I thought it would, but I suppose that's not necessarily a bad thing. We're constantly warned to 'expect the unexpected,' and in this case the unexpected was definitely not expected, but I'm aiming to make the best of it. I've gotten laid off my job and, as if that wasn't enough, I've also been dragged through an emotional ring of fire (not in a good way). The life of a 'starving artist' may soon be upon me (I am exaggerating a bit). I am picking up work where I can, and I hope that in my new found spare time I can finally find time to figure out what the hell to do with my life come spring. The silver lining on this...
