Oh, y’know. Just hanging out by some water in a tiny dress or whatever.
On the very last day of 2012, Mike and I finally tripped ourselves down to Monterey and spent the day at the aquarium. As usual, it was delightful, and as usual, I wore something impractical. (Although less child-ruining than last time.) We saw all sorts of friends, old and new:
Scruffy, grumpy, molting penguins.
An equally-grumpy but more majestic sea turtle, who later showed us his butt.
A melting candle dropped in the tank all sorts of neat jellyfish like...
