Wearing a 1950s Wiggle Dress High Above the City
Last Saturday I had the pleasure of being invited to photograph Play! A Fashion Show Fundraiser held on the roof deck (24th floor penthouse apartment) of the MDA City Apartments in downtown Chicago. Coincidentally my friend Sarah of Zzouzi Vintage was also participating in the event as a designer and stylist-- she showed a line of vintage dresses culled from her etsy shop paired with her handmade hats. Before the show we took advantage of the spectacular view to take outfit photos. I wore a 1950s polka dot "wiggle" dress purchased for $5 from the last Vintage Bazaar Flea Market at the Aragon Theater. It was paired with a late 1950s pillbox hat with a feather spray...
