velvet blazer: via thrift dress: reworked vintage via Etsy tights: HUE clog heels: Steve Madden This is my foray into the fishtail/hi-lo/"mullet"(no.) skirt trend. Dress, rather. I had a friend who owns and operates a vintage shop in town take one of my vintage dresses and give the hem a little flair. The dress needed a little spice, anyway! If I have clothes in my wardrobe that I don't wear as regularly and I don't want to give away/donate/sell I try taking a needle and thread to them and getting a little creative. I am a lady with a pretty dramatic waistline and wide shoulders, so I define my curves to avoid looking like a rectangle. Without this belt, the blazer...
