1980′s inspiration
well, my great enjoyment of the trends of each decade has just come to a crashing, burning, up-in-flames halt.
the eighties boasted
neon
leggings and jeggings {jeans + leggings}
volume- and lots of it!- in sweaters, pants, and prom dresses
shoulder pads
acid wash jeans {also, denim paired with denim}
phew. there are more trends unique to the 80′s, but i have to stop now. too.painful. {kidding.} {sort of.}
in all seriousness, some of these trends have come back, including neon, leggings, and denim paired with denim. like the 70′s styles, i think the 80′s can be classic in toned down, more tailored versions.
i expect leggings and the chambray/denim...
