Sur le blog respect the shoes
Nose Deep
Through my school years, I was a total bookworm. I devoured books of all kinds like it was my job and carried around my library card like a badge of honor. My fave authors through school were Anne Rice (obsessed with the original Vampire Chronicles trilogy), F. Scott Fitzgerald (still a fave) and Sweet Valley High / Nancy Drew anything.
I majored in English lit in college and even took a brief go at trying to make a career out of being a bookworm by aspiring to become a book editor .... until I realized that book editors make like no money, and this chick's got student loans and expenses, y'know what I mean.
Joining the workforce kind of killed it for me for...
